DASHBOARD

Context

Data visualisation allows complex data to be presented in an easy to digest and engaging way, Schroders deals with a vast amount of large complex data and applying a visual motion treatment to it allowed Schroders to create an engaging dashboard of data for it's sales teams.

Approach

Conceptual take on flat charts and graphs. I took artwork from our Illustrator and created an isometric grid in AE with a continuous camera movement panning across all data sets. The challenge was to visually represent the data and find a 'short and fun' movement for this. We decided that small buildings to represent each sector helped carry forward the easy to visualise nature of the overall aesthetic.

Result

Deployed as presentation accompanying videos and re-worked into browser based tools such as Tableau. The visual difference from static JPG charts gave stakeholders and management an alternative option when presenting data.
